Bus Station Cafe in Selangor

A simple and comfortable restaurant along the busy street, Bus Station Cafe is one of the restaurant serves a great Malaysian foods. The restaurant is located in the Pusat Perdagangan Seri Kembangan. It is simply cozy and good for chatting.
* I would say they served a very nice Malaysian cuisine rather than Hong Kong.

To start off, we had Mushroom Soup RM5.90 which is a creamy and has a plenty of mushroom flavor. A simple home made mushroom soup, it was really appetizing and it is indeed a good starter to start off the next dishes~
According to the owner, this soup is prepared from raw food materials, instead of canned cream of mushroom soup.

The next appetizer was the Tom Yam Seafood Soup,RM8.90. We are all know that Tom Yam is a spicy clear soup typical in Laos and Thailand, which is hot and sour! I tried the tom yum and it didn't surprise me much. I would prefer if it can be more hot, more spicy, more thicker and more sour~ hahaha! I am a heavy taste person, i guess~ =P
Btw, this is Boon Hoaw most favourite dish at Bus Station Cafe! =D

Nasi Lemak, RM 8.90 is one of the signatures of Bus Station Cafe. The home made marinated chicken drumsticks is being served with rice, eggs, roasted peanuts, fried anchovies and cucumber. Compared to others, the drumstick had a distinctive tangy Santan fragrant~ The meat was tender and juicy too~ Oh ya... Fried anchovies was crispy and little bit salty, good to eat with rice.

Next dish was the Curry Mee, RM 8.90. It is strongly recommended by the owner. The taste is nothing much to shout out as it is just alike the normal curry mee. Somehow, I felt that the curry mee was tasted like the my hometown, North region. You may required to add Rendang Chicken, where I believe it makes the curry mee more addictive... =P

We did try the Mixed Chop RM 22.90, which made of chicken, lamb and pork steak with brown sauce. The brown sauce was fragrant with garlic & pepper, kinda something Chinese style sauce. I do not really know to appreciate this. But Steven love this so much.

You would also find them serving Olive Oil Mushroom Spaghetti, RM 9.90. It had nice mild wok hei (high heat frying) with just the perfect flavours in it. The ham and mushroom used was fresh enough.
As a student of food technology, I should explain the benefits of olive oil here, right? Haha! Well, olive oil does helps
1. in anti-inflammatory
2. decrease the risk of heart disease
3. reduce cholesterol and blood pressure, due to the monounsaturated fat content of olive oil.
This is what I summarized from WHF. I used to read this whenever I need extra information during revision.

Whenever you are down, craving for sweet, icy dessert, you should really pay a visit to Bus Station Cafe at Pusat Perdagangan Seri Kembangan (Sri Pinang)! They do serve the variety of Ice Floss, which surely will treat your taste buds to a joy ride!!!

It has been quite some time since I had good nice ice floss at Serdang since the closure of 100 YEN in Equine Park. I was surprised to have this at 100 Yen! Finally I found another one that would really suit my "naughty" mouth~ =P.
We tried the Peach Ice Floss and Chocolate Ice Floss. Both are really good and my most favourite is the chocolate!!! Heavenly good~

Thanks to the generosity of Bus Station Cafe, they served us the Chrispy Durian Roll, RM4.90 before our leaving. A very crispy Durian Popiah that recommended for those durian lovers. The flavoursome filling (D24 Durian) was cold when you bite into it~ yummy~
