Kong Heng Restaurant Foods in Ipoh

Kong Heng Restaurant, a very popular restaurant in the old town area of Ipoh located beside the Thean Chun Restaurant. They serve variety of foods such as chee cheong fan, hor fun (shredded chicken noddle soup), bean sprout with chicken, popiah, rojak and others. People come all over always hunt for these good foods! Seriously good~

The first recommended food of Kong Heng Restaurant is this - Shredded Chicken Noodle Soup (Kai Si Hor Fun). Wow wow wow~ When I took the first bite, the soup was so flavourful and fragrant. Just simply like all the chicken running into my mouth~ The noodles are soft too~ Sluuuurrrrrrrrrrp!

Apart of their hor fun, satay are worth of trying! Pork and Chicken satay are served, but we have chosen the chicken satay. The meat are tender and springy enough. With the satay sauce, it makes the satay more tasty. The roasted peanut aroma with the slight sweetness was so great~
*There is a speciality of way they serve satay. An uncle will look around and keep refill the satay. Well, it is not like McDonald, these satay are not free. LOL~

Fruits (pineapple, cucumber, etc) and crackers were served with Rojak sauce, which is more likely sweet and spicy.
There are two types of Chee Cheong Fan, which is sweet sauce (red) and curry sauce (orange). The noodles are good, but I don't really know to appreciate them.

Overall, this Kong Heng Restaurant foods was good! You may pay a visit when pass by Perak.
